Baby Gift Bags for Struggling Parents and Families to East Kent Hospital University Trust Maternity Department: Q.E.Q.M
Everglow the Rebecca Kruza Foundation Charity is proud to see the beaming smile on EKHUFT’s Deputy Head Midwife Lisa Ward’s face as she receives the 10 bags worth £40 each to give to their most deserving parents, though in this heat the animals in those bags were wilting a bit. However helped by my delightful grandchildren, Reevie and JJ, they kept the animals happy while myself and Lisa talked about the problems facing those in need, which are predicted to worsen in the current economical crisis. We are sure that although a small contribution, these Baby Bags will at least let folk know that someone cares and lessen their burden.
We have also applied for funding to help pay for Midwifery training in: Bio mechanical Birthing, and, Birth Trauma and Perinatal Mental Health.
Everglow has just had confirmation of more funding for these Baby Bags which we’ve had lots of requests for, and so as soon as I can muster the energy we will acquire and deliver them to their doorsteps. Meanwhile Rebecca is looking down on us with her own spiritual pride, although with all my heart and soul I wish it were for a less heartbreaking reason that we were doing this.
