“I also emphasised that we had been begging to be included and our concerns heard since 2017, and questioned WHY this had not been circulated, and we had not been included, and our ‘evidenced concerns and complaints’  not been ‘factored in’. 

When I asked you said you had not been contacted by any of the other authorities I had communicated these to, over almost 4 years. 

Our experience does not reflect the improvements you have attempted over the last 4 months in any manner, practical or otherwise, and I described current cases where the obstetric history evidences consistent negligence in every area of care. You offered to look into individual cases.

It is for all women we ask that this level of care be given , not just this one case, and until our improvements are made this can not happen, as you have missed vital points by not hearing our voice.

I explained why we felt that this meeting had been a futile exercise, and we had been patronised and our evidence, concerns and efforts dismissed, and was appalled at this.
The 10 year plan is flawed , partly demonstrated in the examples detailed above, and we will endeavour to ensure that the very necessary improvements of our Campaign are implemented. “
